THE BYRDS!
This series was really fun, and rewarding for me to make. I adored my ceramics class last spring, and when I am back in school I plan on learning more. Another thing I learned about ceramics is that it is a lot like growing orchids, the environment has a lot to do with how the clay drys and it is important to dry evenly. Also working with clay is a constant learning experience!
So to my 'Byrds'
this one was my prototype, he's 'sick' (notice the 'snot' drip at the end of his beak, and dull color), but still the inspiration of the series!

I gave this one to my mom, because it was her favorite :)
