Thank you for your interest, Lee. I have yet to see those bloom to their full potential, so I am going to hold out. But, if you are interested, I will have a few compots of a violacea cross I made last year, which I will be getting at the end of the summer. One parent is indigo, the other is magenta with a strong indigo iridescence, as one of it's parents was indigo. The cross was made both ways.
DeleteAll blooms are beautiful but I liked the Phal Dragon's Fire the most.
ReplyDeleteThank you! That bloom is actually quite faded from when I ordered the plant from Peter. The spike has moved a bit this summer, so I'm hoping to get a chance to photograph a fresh bloom, and smell one too!
DeleteI love the Double Eagle 'Parliament'. I have gibbosa in spike that I grew from flask if you are interested. Brenda
